The focus of this class is the cultivation of body based attention and awareness through yoga and meditation. I will provide guidance on how to find a supportive and appropriate posture and how to be aware of and focus your attention. But above all, I hope to practice together. As Zen Master Dogen wrote, "Zazen [sitting practice] is not learning to do concentration. It is the dharma gate of great ease and joy."
