Practice with Donna Farhi in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA July 2025
(35 minutes from Denver International Airport)
Donna is offering two intensives in July 2025. The first, Evolving Towards Simplicity is focused on enjoying practice with an emphasis on the subtle adaptation of basic practices. Simple can be powerful! The second, Origins of Alignment, has been developed for teachers and students of Yoga who are interested in experiencing alignment from the inside-out. This intensive will include both periods of practice and lecture discussion.
You can find more information about the difference between these two offerings at the bottom of this page.

What’s the difference between the two intensives?
Evolving Towards Simplicity is oriented for both students and teachers of Yoga who would enjoy the experience of guided practice and moving through a series of balanced yoga sequences, from warming up, to strengthening, to deep relaxation and practices such as Yoga Nidra. The emphasis in this intensive is on subtle adaptation of simple practices that could form the bedrock of a sustainable yoga practice. There’s lots to gain for students (who are not teachers) and for teachers who may be seeking the nourishment of receiving the teachings of yoga without the pressure to make it part of their professional development training.
Origins of Alignment also includes extensive experiential practice, but the focus is distinctly different. We will explore key human developmental movement patterns that can reawaken our ability to sense, feel, and shape our yoga practice from the inside out. The classes include lecture discussion, guided somatic inquiry, and a careful translation and application to yoga practice. While this intensive could be an eye-opener for a yoga student, it’s especially suitable for teachers who wish to better understand what they see in their student’s bodies and ways to offer the student internal access to their own ability to feel, adapt and shape their alignment from the inside-out. Origins of Alignment will include handouts, reading material and summary sheets. The slightly higher tuition cost of this intensive reflects the addition of extensive handouts and that we are limiting the registration numbers to allow for ease during movement exploration.
