This Level 1 Iyengar yoga class is designed for brand new beginners and those new to the Iyengar method, focusing on building a strong foundation through the practice of fundamental asanas. Students will learn the essential actions within standing poses, seated poses, twists, forward and backward extensions, and beginner inversions. Emphasizing precise form and strong structure, this gentle class is especially beneficial for those with scoliosis or chronic back pain, as Sara brings years of expertise in addressing these conditions.
