Donna Farhi Denver 2025
Frequently Asked Questions
Where will the intensive be held?
Both Evolving Towards Simplicity and Origins of Alignment will be held at Marion Mobley Dance, 6708 W. 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO, 80212. This is on the southeast corner of 44th and Pierce, about 1 mile northwest of Akasha Collective.
Where do you suggest I stay?
Marion Mobley Dance is in a residential area in Wheat Ridge, CO, within 10 minutes drive of Northwest Denver, Mountain View, Edgewater, and parts of south Arvada. There are ample amenities nearby, including grocery stores, restaurants, parks, and walking trails. While it is possible to navigate the area on bicycle if you are staying nearby, cars are more commonly used.
The Visit Us page above has lodging suggestions and descriptions of some of the nearby communities. When you register, you’ll receive an email with a link to a private Facebook group where you can connect with other attendees for the purposes of coordinating housing/roommate situations and transportation.
What is the cancellation policy?
Refunds will be made until 28 May 2025 minus a $50 administration fee. After 28 May 2025, no refunds will be made but we will facilitate transferring enrollments to people on our waiting lists for a $50 exchange fee.
I got a notice that registrations were full. What do I do now?
Please add your name to the waiting list under Registration on the page of the intensive that you wish to attend. People on the waiting list will be offered spaces if they arise on a first come, first served basis commensurate to your spot on the list. If a space become available, you will receive an emailed invitation to register, on which you will need to take action (accept the spot and make payment) within 48 hours.
What do I need to bring?
Definitely plan to bring your yoga mat. A more detailed list of necessary props will be sent to registrants in the spring of 2025. There will be limited opportunity to borrow larger props for those traveling internationally.
What is Denver like in July?
Most likely we will be in the heat of the summer during the intensive; daytime temperatures between 90°-100° Fahrenheit are seasonal. With outdoor heat and indoor air conditioning, its good to dress in layers. It is common for people to experience fatigue and headaches due to Denver’s altitude; be prepared to consume significantly more water than you’re probably accustomed to. It is highly advised to carry a refillable water bottle with you.
Your host is Tiffany Bucknam, owner of Akasha Collective and Evolition. Please reach out if you have further questions.
